Accounting Officer

Accounting Officer Location: Las Pinas City Job Summary The Accounting Officer is responsible for managing daily financial and accounting operations in a dynamic business environment that includes residential community operations and various small to medium commercial establishments such as retail, food service, and property-related services. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficient handling of accounting records. Key Responsibilities Handle day-to-day accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general ledger entries Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow Process billing, collections, and payment transactions Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Ensure compliance with tax regulations and government reporting requirements Support internal and external audit requirements Maintain proper documentation of financial records Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field At least 2–4 years of accounting experience Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Good communication and organizational skills Preferred Advantage Experience in property-based communities or mixed-use commercial environments involving residential, retail, and service-oriented operations is an advantage Exposure to handling multiple small business accounts or diverse revenue streams Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-transaction environment Experience working directly with business owners or operations teams Soft Skills High level of integrity and accountability Strong time management and accuracy under pressure Ability to multitask and prioritize workload Team player with a proactive working attitude
