We are looking for a reliable and customer-oriented Fruit Store Vendor to manage the daily operations of our fruit stall. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality service, maintain cleanliness, and handle the store efficiently to meet sales targets while providing a positive shopping experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Assist customers in selecting fruits based on their preferences.
- Provide information about the freshness, quality, and price of products.
- Ensure a friendly and courteous interaction with customers.
Product Handling and Display:
- Arrange fruits attractively on display shelves.
- Monitor product freshness and remove damaged or spoiled fruits promptly.
- Ensure proper storage of fruits to maintain quality.
Sales and Cash Handling:
- Operate the cash register and handle customer payments accurately.
- Keep a daily record of sales and ensure cash reconciliation.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor stock levels and inform management of replenishment needs.
- Assist in receiving and inspecting fruit deliveries.
Cleanliness and Hygiene:
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Follow sanitation standards for food handling and preparation.
Promotions and Upselling:
- Inform customers of ongoing promotions or discounts.
- Suggest complementary products to increase sales.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
