Store Attendant

- The Store Attendant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing inventory, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring that all items are stocked and displayed according to the company’s standards. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and a passion for maintaining a welcoming shopping environment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers and provide assistance with product selection, inquiries, and checkout.
- Sales Support: Assist in achieving sales targets by promoting store products and encouraging upselling.
- Inventory Management: Ensure proper stock levels and assist in restocking merchandise; report stock discrepancies or shortages to the supervisor.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including product displays, aisles, and cash registers.
- Cash Handling: Process customer transactions, including cash and credit payments, ensuring accuracy and security.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with product details, promotions, and store policies to provide informed recommendations to customers.
- Store Security: Ensure store policies on security and theft prevention are adhered to.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow store attendants and managers to ensure smooth daily operations.

- High school diploma or equivalent (College level or graduate is a plus)
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions accurately
- Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
