- We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Store Helper to join our team at [Store Name]. The Store Helper will assist with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the store, from stocking merchandise to maintaining cleanliness and providing support to both customers and staff.
- Responsibilities:
- Assist with receiving, sorting, and organizing inventory.
- Ensure that shelves and displays are stocked and properly arranged.
- Assist customers by answering basic product inquiries and directing them to the appropriate staff members.
- Help in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the store, including the floor and stock areas.
- Assist in preparing merchandise for display and ensuring that the store is always presentable.
- Perform basic cashier duties, including ringing up purchases and handling cash transactions, when needed.
- Help in the unloading of deliveries and organizing stock in the storage area.
- Ensure that items are correctly labeled and priced.
- Work closely with the store manager and other team members to meet store goals.
- Assist with inventory checks and report any missing or damaged items to the supervisor.
- Follow all store policies and safety procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail or warehouse work is an advantage but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a team player.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible with work schedules, including weekends and holidays.
