- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent service by assisting customers in selecting products and answering their questions.
- Ensure that customers receive a pleasant shopping experience by maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Address customer concerns, process returns, and handle complaints effectively.
- Sales Transactions:
- Operate cash registers, process payments (cash, credit, and other payment methods), and issue receipts.
- Ensure accuracy in pricing and transaction processing.
- Inventory Management:
- Assist with inventory control by stocking shelves, labeling items, and monitoring product levels.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist in the replenishment of goods.
- Report stock discrepancies or low inventory to the supervisor.
- Store Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including shelves, aisles, and storage areas.
- Ensure that the store is properly stocked and products are displayed according to company guidelines.
- Product Knowledge:
- Learn about new products, promotions, and store policies to effectively inform customers.
- Provide detailed product information and suggest complementary items to increase sales.
- Teamwork and Support:
- Collaborate with other staff members to meet store targets and deliver top-notch customer service.
- Assist with the training of new staff and provide support during busy times.
- Qualifications:
- Education: At least high school graduate (College degree or equivalent preferred).
- Experience: Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage but not required.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle transactions and operate cash registers.
- Basic math and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
