Procurement Officer

Sourcing of Materials and Suppliers
- Identify and qualify suppliers for construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Conduct market research to find cost-effective and reliable sources.
- Request and evaluate quotations, samples, and technical specifications.
- Maintain an updated database of approved vendors and pricing.
Purchasing and Procurement
- Prepare and process purchase orders, RFQs, and contracts.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Ensure purchases comply with project budgets and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order accuracy and delivery timelines
Inventory and Delivery Coordination
- Monitor stock levels and forecast material needs based on project schedules.
- Liaise with warehouse and site teams to ensure timely delivery and proper storage.
- Track incoming shipments and resolve delivery issues or discrepancies.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier performance, and cost comparisons.
- Generate procurement reports for management and finance teams.
- Assist in budget planning and cost control initiatives.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure all sourced materials meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Mitigate risks related to supply chain delays, price fluctuations, and vendor reliability.
