Procurement & Inventory Controller

The Procurement Staff is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and monitoring goods and services required by the company. This role ensures timely procurement, cost efficiency, quality standards, and compliance with company policies and supplier agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Process purchase requests and prepare purchase orders
• Source and evaluate suppliers, vendors, and contractors
• Compare prices, specifications, and delivery schedules
• Negotiate costs, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
• Maintain procurement records and supplier databases
• Coordinate with finance, warehouse, and department heads
• Ensure purchased items meet quality standards and company requirements
• Resolve issues involving delivery delays, damaged goods, or supplier disputes
• Assist in preparing procurement reports and cost analyses
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations preferred
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
