Service Operations Manager - Elavator

Job Description - Manage customer/client information on ongoing repair, maintenance, and retention of all products in the current portfolio.
- Achieve customer satisfaction and support the strategic business objectives of the region.
- Implement the area operations business plan to support execution of operational initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with key customers and influential industry consultants.
- Ensure process adherence to a customer excellence plan that delivers high-quality service and grows customer loyalty.
- Manage, mentor, and lead a team of supervisors and field technicians, including setting objectives, managing performance, and developing skills to meet financial targets and performance KPIs.
- Oversee hiring and onboarding of new supervisors and field technicians.
- Establish procedures and leadership practices to maintain high morale, participative management, and alignment with company values and best practices.
- Set expectations for field technician engagement and provide supervisors with learning opportunities to improve productivity and service quality.
- Participate actively in performance reviews and advise supervisors on manpower movement, including specialists and repair personnel.
- Lead or participate in service operations meetings and ensure they are effective.
- Provide technical expertise for projects requiring additional oversight or intervention.
- Coordinate personnel and product safety responsibilities with EHS and Quality & BPM Departments, including safety training, technical training, and equipment testing.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity, with supervisory experience in various assignments, preferably in the elevator industry or another service-oriented business.
- P&L management experience for an industrial company.
- Six Sigma certification or equivalent is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proven ability to manage projects and user testing.
- Focused on results, customer-oriented, and a strong team player.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
