About the Client

Sabai Hospitality Group is the company behind Krapow! and NOK.

We currently operate four restaurant locations and a central commissary, with plans to open four additional stores within the next 12 months. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced HR Manager to help build the people, systems, and culture that will support our expansion.

We are looking for a General Manager - Operations

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, develop our people, build systems and controls, improve profitability, and help scale the business as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Leadership

* Oversee daily operations across all restaurant locations and commissary.

* Ensure consistent execution of food quality, service standards, cleanliness, and guest experience.

* Conduct regular store visits, audits, and operational reviews.

* Identify operational issues and implement solutions quickly and effectively.

* Drive operational excellence across all locations.

Leadership & Team Development

* Lead, mentor, coach, and develop Store Managers, Assistant Managers, and key team members.

* Build a culture of accountability, hospitality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

* Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.

* Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and leadership development.

* Develop future leaders within the organization.

Systems & Process Improvement

* Build, document, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs).

* Establish systems and controls that support operational consistency and growth.

* Improve workflows, communication, and operational efficiency.

* Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.

* Create scalable processes capable of supporting future expansion.

Reporting & Accountability

* Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

* Track key metrics including sales, covers, labor cost, food cost, inventory, guest satisfaction, and profitability.

* Lead weekly operations meetings and review performance with management.

* Hold managers accountable to performance goals and operational standards.

Financial Performance & Controls

* Drive profitability through effective management of food cost, labor cost, and operating expenses.

* Review store P&Ls and implement action plans to improve results.

* Strengthen inventory controls, purchasing procedures, cash handling, and loss prevention systems.

* Identify opportunities to improve margins and reduce waste.

Marketing & Sales Execution

* Work closely with the marketing team to ensure successful execution of promotions and campaigns.

* Develop local store marketing initiatives to drive traffic and sales.

* Ensure all promotional activities are properly implemented at store level.

* Analyze sales trends and recommend initiatives to improve performance.

Guest Experience & Quality Assurance

* Maintain high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, and hospitality.

* Monitor guest feedback, online reviews, and customer satisfaction.

* Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

* Conduct regular quality assurance audits across all stores.

Growth & Expansion

* Lead operational readiness for new store openings.

* Assist with manpower planning, recruitment, training, and opening schedules.

* Support the expansion of the business from 4 stores to 8+ stores.

* Ensure the commissary and support functions are prepared for growth.

Qualifications

* Minimum 5–10 years of restaurant operations management experience.

* Experience managing multiple restaurant locations.

* Background in casual dining, fast casual, or restaurant groups preferred.

* Strong understanding of restaurant financials and P&L management.

* Proven experience implementing systems, controls, SOPs, and operational processes.

* Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills.

* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused.

* Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Success Metrics

* Achievement of sales and profitability targets.

* Food cost and labor cost maintained within company targets.

* Strong store audit and compliance scores.

* Improved guest satisfaction and online review ratings.

* Effective development and retention of managers and staff.

* Timely and successful opening of new locations.
