Banquet Manager

The Banquet Manager will oversee the daily operations of the hotel’s banquet and function areas, ensuring that meetings, conferences, weddings, social gatherings, and other events are delivered according to agreed requirements and established service standards.
The role will supervise banquet personnel, review event orders and function requirements, coordinate room setup and service arrangements, and ensure the proper execution of events. The position will also work closely with Events, Culinary, Stewarding, Engineering, and other departments, address client and guest concerns, monitor operating supplies, and support employee training and performance management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 4 to 5 years of experience in hotel banquet, food and beverage, or events operations
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience in banquet operations is preferred
- Strong knowledge of banquet service, function setup, event orders, food and beverage operations, and service standards
- Experience in manpower scheduling, inventory monitoring, event coordination, and cost control
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Able to manage multiple functions and maintain service quality in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and extended hours depending on event requirements
