Seda Vertis North is seeking a highly organized and service-driven Banquet Manager to lead the planning and execution of banquet, meeting, and special event operations. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless event delivery, exceptional guest experiences, and efficient coordination with internal teams while maintaining the highest standards of service and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of banquet and event functions, ensuring smooth and successful execution.
- Coordinate closely with Events, Sales, Culinary, and other operational teams to meet client expectations and event requirements.
- Lead, train, and motivate the Banquet team to deliver exceptional service standards.
- Monitor event setup, service delivery, and breakdown activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Manage staffing requirements, scheduling, and labor costs in line with operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety standards, and food handling procedures.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
- Support revenue and profitability goals through effective event operations and resource management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Banquet Operations or Food & Beverage management , preferably within an upscale hotel environment.
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of banquet service standards, event operations, and food & beverage practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by operations.
