Warehouse Manager

Duties:
- · Develop strategic plans and policies to improve warehousing operations.
- · Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
- · Introduction and management of warehouse management and financial management systems.
- · Plan people, process and system resources to manage the action plans and to meet KPI target
- · Ongoing management and maintenance of the vehicle fleet.
- · Daily and monthly KPI reporting on productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
- · Manage quantity of stock, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
- · Identify and manage continuous improvement projects.
- · Resolve any arising problems escalating issues as required.
- · As required provide support in solving day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term
- · Performance goals.
- · Apply supply chain best practice to actively identify, analyse and recommend quick win opportunity
- · Plans and strategizes the efficient use and cost-effective optimization of resources
- · Executes management policies; appoints, disciplines or dismisses subordinate employees (hires and fires); further, the incumbent's suggestions/ recommendations on the change of an employee's status is given notable weight
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Business or related field
- At least five (5) year work experience as a Warehouse Manager or a similar position
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations, management and system inventory
- Time management skills and the ability to delegate
- Excellent leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills
