Job Description and Duties:
This is an Accounting VA role, specializing in Australian real estate and Australian Accounting. It's a full-time position responsible for managing the complete financial operations of a residential real estate agency. You'll act as a key financial partner, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity in all accounting processes. Key duties include:
- Process and reconcile transactions using Xero and VaultRE.
- Ensure compliance with trust accounting regulations and company policies.
- Prepare financial reports and statements for property managers.
- Handle invoicing, payments, and reconciliations accurately and on time.
- Support property management teams with accounting queries and documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in trust accounting within Australian real estate property management.
- Strong proficiency in Xero and familiarity with VaultRE.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Accounting background or relevant certification preferred.
This Role is NOT For Individuals Who:
- Lack direct experience in a real estate environment in Australia or New Zealand.
- Are unfamiliar with the VaultRE and Xero platform.
- Need constant supervision to manage daily tasks.
- Do not have a professional, discreet, and proactive approach to their work.
