Job Qualifications
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or any related course, an MS degree would be an advantage
- With a minimum of 5 years R&D experience in a Managerial capacity in the food manufacturing industry
- Has a strong background in Quality Management System
- Competent in developing department operational budgets
- Has the ability to identify, introduce and follow best practices
- Highly ethical and analytical
- Highly detail-oriented and has strong self-initiative and people management skills
- Strong problem solving, verbal and written communication skills and ability to handle multiple projects or tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in driving with valid driver's license
Job Description
- Lead the development, implementation and execution of special projects as approved by the Sales & Product Development Manager
- Establish product design reviews in relation to manufacturing with the aim of simplifying and improving operational efficiencies, reducing manufacturing cost.
- Ensure that all the processes needed for R&D are established, implemented and maintained
- Ensure that the department’s policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated in the Quality Systems Manual.
- Ensure that all laboratory and culinary equipment are maintained in good working order, regularly calibrated and serviced accordingly
- Provide technical advice and training to customers, sales, manufacturing and laboratory personnel, as required.
