Risk and Payments Associate

Job Summary: 

• The Risk and Payments Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and security of financial transactions within the organization. This position involves monitoring, analyzing, and mitigating risks associated with payments and financial operations. The associate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain effective risk management strategies and procedures. Additionally, the role requires conducting investigations into suspicious activities, identifying potential fraud patterns, and recommending solutions to enhance payment security and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Process payment transactions accurately and efficiently
• Verify payment details and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Ensure compliance with payment processing regulations and standards
• Suggests providing training and support to staff on payment processing procedures.
• Handling the Know - Your- Customer Process

Qualifications:

• College Graduate or Undergraduate
• At least 1 year experience in a similar role, particularly in accounts payable or financial administration.
• Strong attention skills to details and accuracy
• Average typing test at least 40 wpm
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative and to be a team player.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Flexibility to change shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
