Inpatient Medical Coder (1 Year Exp Required!)

Qualifications:
- 1-3 years IP coding Experience
- CPC/CIC certification AAPC or CCS certification from AHIMA
- Knowledge in Coding clinics
- Exposure in ICD Guidelines
- Exposure in MS-DRG,APR-DRG,PDX sections.
- Exposure in medical coding tool
Responsibilities
- Review and assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes for inpatient medical records in accordance with coding standards and guidelines.
- Ensure coding accuracy, completeness, and compliance with healthcare regulations and payer requirements.
- Analyze clinical documentation and identify opportunities for clarification when needed.
- Maintain productivity and quality targets while meeting established turnaround times.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and internal teams to resolve coding-related issues.
- Participate in coding audits and quality improvement activities to support coding excellence.
