Sr. Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Sr. Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the Group’s accounting operations across its trading, industrial, and real estate businesses.

The role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, strong internal controls, and efficient accounting processes.

This is a leadership role overseeing the accounting team and reporting directly to management.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and month-end/year-end closings.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
• Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, LGU, and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage tax filings and coordinate with external auditors and consultants.
• Lead the annual audit process and ensure audit readiness.

Internal Controls & Governance

• Establish and enforce strong internal controls across accounting, inventory, procurement, and leasing transactions.
• Review accounting processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
• Identify risks and recommend improvements to safeguard company assets.

Financial Monitoring & Support

• Assist management in budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Provide financial analysis and reports to support business decisions.
• Monitor receivables, payables, and cash flow movements.
• Ensure proper documentation and organization of financial records.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
• Review work outputs to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA license is an advantage
• Minimum of 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of PFRS, Philippine taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in trading, distribution, or real estate is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• High integrity and attention to detail.
• Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks or ERP systems) and advanced Excel.

Working Schedule

Monday to Saturday (8am to 5pm)
