Sales Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT: Graduate of 4 years baccalaureate course in Management or related courses

EXPERIENCE: At least 4 years experience in sales and marketing, 2 year of which is on the supervisory level in sales and 1 year in managerial capacity

KEY RESULT AREA DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Attainment

1. Conceptualizes and implements sales strategies to retain and expand

markets, and to maintain and grow major accounts.

2. Ensures close coordination with clients, their representatives, and internal

departments, particularly the Operations Department, to minimize concerns

related to sales agreements and to promptly resolve issues.

3. Leads the acquisition of new accounts and ensures timely and accurate

submission of proposals.

4. Ensures swift closure of deals for both new and existing accounts through

timely submission of proposals and execution of contract signing.

Reportorial

5.Submits monthly sales report to the CEO and the Finance and Accounting Manager.

Collection Support and Escalation

6. Coordinates with the Finance and Accounting Department on the status of

receivables and aging of accounts under assigned clients/accounts.

7. Assists in follow-ups for accounts requiring sales intervention, particularly

key and strategic clients within the assigned portfolio.

8. Handles escalated collection cases endorsed by Finance and Accounting

for assigned accounts to facilitate resolution of payment concerns.

9. Engages directly with clients under the assigned portfolio to address

concerns, disputes, or delays affecting payment.

10. Supports the resolution of billing issues in coordination with concerned

departments to ensure timely collection for assigned accounts.

11. Recommends appropriate actions for persistently delinquent accounts

within the assigned portfolio, including escalation to Management when necessary.

Plans and Programs

12. Develops and submits for approval annual plans, programs, targets, and/or

budgets, and oversees their implementation to ensure alignment with corporate direction.

Policy Formulation,

Infrastructure Development, and Implementation

13. Ensures work progress of Sales staff by monitoring activities, evaluating

performance, enforcing discipline when necessary, and initiating career development programs.

People Management

14. Manages Sales staff performance through monitoring, evaluation, discipline

enforcement, and implementation of career development initiatives.

15. Acts on operational concerns and issues within the unit and recommends

appropriate actions to the Immediate Supervisor for matters beyond delegated authority.

16. Acts/decides on all concerns, issues and problems in the course of the Department’s

operation; and recommends to Immediate Superior action/resolution for concerns, issues

and problems beyond his/her scope of authority.

17. Performs other tasks that may be assigned .
