The Purchasing Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating the timely delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment needed for company operations and projects. The role includes supplier coordination, canvassing and price negotiation, preparation of purchase requests/orders, monitoring deliveries, and ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Source and evaluate suppliers/vendors
- With experience in Electrical or Civil construction company.
• Canvass, negotiate pricing, and prepare purchase orders
• Coordinate with project/site teams regarding material requirements
• Monitor delivery schedules and procurement status
• Ensure completeness of purchasing documents and records
• Maintain supplier relationships and cost efficiency
