Manufacturing Excellence Manager

Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading producer of quality baked products in the country. Our client is looking for a Manufacturing Excellence Manager to lead production excellence initiatives, optimize manufacturing processes, and ensure efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective bakery operations.
This is an onsite position, Monday to Saturday, with the office located in Meycauayan, Bulacan.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production strategies aligned with business objectives and manufacturing targets.
- Forecast production requirements based on sales trends, customer demand, and business projections.
- Optimize production capacity, manpower, equipment, and other resources to maximize operational efficiency.
- Oversee daily cake and bakery production operations to ensure smooth and timely execution.
- Ensure production targets are consistently achieved while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Monitor production workflows and identify opportunities to improve productivity, minimize downtime, and reduce waste.
- Ensure all products meet established quality standards and customer expectations.
- Establish production KPIs, monitor performance, and conduct regular employee evaluations.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive process improvements focused on productivity, cost efficiency, waste reduction, and overall manufacturing excellence.
- Participate in new product trials and support the successful commercialization and scale-up of new cake and bakery products.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety standards, and relevant manufacturing regulations.
- Collaborate with Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other functions to resolve production issues and improve overall plant performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- More than 5 years of experience in bakery or food manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong experience in production management, process improvement, and manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience in production planning, capacity utilization, KPI management, and continuous improvement.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage high-volume production operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work onsite, Monday to Saturday, in Meycauayan, Bulacan.
