Procurement Specialist - Manufacturing

- Researching and evaluating potential suppliers to meet our product and service requirements (raw materials and packaging materials)
- Negotiating contract terms and conditions with suppliers to obtain the best value for the company
- Managing supplier relationships and performance, ensuring we receive high-quality materials and services on time
- Optimizing our procurement processes and inventory levels to improve efficiency and cost savings
- Collaborating cross-functionally to align sourcing activities with our manufacturing and distribution plans
- Maintaining detailed records and reporting on procurement activities and cost savings
- Significant experience (3+ years) in a Sourcing or Procurement role, ideally within the manufacturing industries
- With significant network of suppliers of raw materials and packaging materials both here and abroad.
- Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
- Proficiency in using procurement and inventory management systems
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across different departments
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field
- Importation background/experience is a plus
