Reports To: Sales Manager / Business Development Manager
Job Summary
The Key Account Executive is responsible for driving sales growth by acquiring new clients and managing existing accounts for the Company's software solutions, IT services, and custom programming projects. The role involves understanding clients' business requirements, proposing appropriate technology solutions, and building long-term partnerships that contribute to revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new business opportunities for the Company's software products, IT solutions, and custom software development services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and key decision-makers.
- Conduct client meetings to understand business challenges, operational requirements, and digital transformation needs.
- Present and demonstrate the Company's software solutions and programming capabilities to prospective clients.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, Statements of Work (SOW), and service agreements tailored to client requirements.
Coordinate with the technical and development teams to translate client requirements into feasible solutions and project scopes.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close sales agreements within approved company guidelines.
- Manage assigned key accounts and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services.
- Monitor project status and ensure smooth handover from the sales phase to the implementation or development team.
- Address client concerns and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the engagement.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, forecasts, and account updates using CRM or reporting tools.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to identify new market opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in B2B sales , preferably in software, IT solutions, SaaS, system integration, or technology services.
- Experience selling custom software development or programming services is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and IT project environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Results-driven with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
- Willing to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
