IT Support Specialist L2/L3

Salary Range: $1,200 to $1,500 per month

What You'll Do:

• Provide IT support through voice and chat channels for general users and VIP clients.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving Helpdesk support, Active Directory (AD), and Domain Name Systems (DNS).
• Manage Windows Servers and track support requests using ConnectWise or similar ticketing systems.
• Handle user account creation, termination, access permissions, and application installations.
• Set up and configure printers and troubleshoot internet connectivity issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and Office applications.
• Recover and restore files from local devices and cloud-based systems.
• Respond to compromised email accounts and assist with account security and recovery.
• Configure drive mapping and manage access to shared network resources.
• Diagnose and resolve site-wide Wi-Fi outages, network connectivity issues, and other technical disruptions.

Who We're Looking For:

• IT Support Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on IT support experience is required. Experience in an MSP environment is preferred, but not necessary.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and network troubleshooting.
• Technical Foundation: Well-rounded knowledge of Windows environments, DNS, Windows Server administration, local and cloud file recovery, drive mapping, printer configuration, internet connectivity, and end-user systems. Expert-level knowledge in every area is not required.
• Troubleshooting Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities across desktops, servers, and networks, with the ability to take ownership of issues and escalate only when necessary.
• Communication Skills: Clear and professional communication skills for supporting general and VIP users through voice and chat.
• Ticketing Systems: Familiarity with ConnectWise or similar ticketing systems is helpful.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy when managing user access, drive mapping, system changes, and routine updates.
• Preferred Skills: Experience troubleshooting RDP login and connectivity issues, Office 365 security incidents, compromised email accounts, and QuickBooks-related issues is a plus, but not necessary.
