VA Bookkeeper / Xero Expert

We are looking for a detail-oriented VA Bookkeeper with strong Xero experience to support our Australian clients. This role focuses on accurate bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial reporting while working remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Record and categorize transactions accurately
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare basic financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet)
- Assist with BAS preparation (training provided if needed)
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
- Communicate with the client regarding financial queries
Qualifications / Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- At least 1–2 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience using Xero
- Experience supporting Australian businesses is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and spoken English
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently
