Cash Allocations Representative
Thermo Fisher Scientific
This position processes daily cash receipts and accounts receivable transactions within the Order-to-Cash department. The representative will handle payment posting, cash reconciliation, and coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve payment issues and maintain accurate financial records.
Responsibilities
- Monitor incoming cash daily and process bank receipts accurately and timely
- Allocate suspense amounts and unallocated cash to appropriate customer accounts or general ledger areas
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and complex unallocated payment cases
- Perform month-end reconciliation, close activities, and reporting
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Requirements
- Fluent in English language
- University or college degree
- 1-2 years of work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel)
- Previous experience in Shared Service Centers
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
