Job Summary
The Business Metrics Specialist is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business data to support strategic decision-making and improve organizational performance. The role develops reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifies trends and opportunities for process improvement, and provides actionable insights to management through accurate and timely business reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 2–4 years of experience in business analytics, data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, or VBA); experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools is preferred.
- Working knowledge of SQL and experience handling large datasets.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
