This role is designed for someone with strong bookkeeping experience and exceptional attention to detail who can manage multiple entities and priorities in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, financial record maintenance, reconciliations, and accounting process management, working closely with the Controller and accounting team. Location: Must be in The Philippines – Remote. Environment: Philippines and International Teams. Language: Advanced English (B2+ - C1). Timezone: Monday to Friday – 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Mountain Time. Contract: Full Time Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience; experience with reconciliations and journal entries; multi-entity accounting experience preferred; experience supporting audits preferred.
- Skills: Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles; advanced Excel skills.
- Characteristics: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation, perform bank and credit card reconciliations, and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare and post journal entries, maintain general ledger accounts, and assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
- Prepare supporting schedules and reports, maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules, and monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions.
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies, assist with financial reporting preparation, and support budgeting and ad hoc reporting requests.
- Prepare documentation for audits and compliance reviews, support annual financial statement audits and 401(k) audit requests, and help identify process improvements, maintain accounting procedures, and support system enhancements and automation efforts.
