About the role

Select Goods is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on a full-time basis at our facility in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment, machinery, and systems operate at peak efficiency. The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial part in our operations, minimising downtime, preventing equipment failure, and maintaining a safe working environment. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will directly contribute to our operational success and the satisfaction of our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Performing routine maintenance and inspections on machinery, equipment, and building systems to ensure optimal functionality

• Diagnosing technical faults and troubleshooting equipment problems using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques

• Carrying out preventative maintenance schedules to reduce unexpected breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan

• Repairing and replacing faulty components, parts, and systems in a timely and efficient manner

• Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs completed, and spare parts used

• Responding promptly to maintenance requests and service calls from various departments

• Performing safety inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

• Collaborating with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimise operational disruption

• Operating and maintaining tools and equipment safely and responsibly

What we're looking for

• Technical certification or qualification in mechanical, electrical, or general maintenance engineering

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar hands-on maintenance role within the Trades and Services industry

• Strong knowledge of machinery operation, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and mechanical hand tools

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and maintenance schedules

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of work quality

• Reliable, punctual, and demonstrating a proactive approach to preventative maintenance

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Physical fitness and willingness to perform manual labour, including working at heights or in confined spaces where required

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in a technical environment
