A Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, machinery, and building systems to ensure smooth and safe operations. This role supports preventive maintenance programs and responds to repair requests in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of equipment, systems, and facilities
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests quickly
- Maintain maintenance logs and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Coordinate with external contractors when necessary
- Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation
