Job Summary:

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with financial reporting. The role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to work with accounting systems and client processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and maintain Accounts Payable (AP) and/or Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
• Review and validate invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial documents.
• Perform data entry and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank accounts, customer accounts, and other financial records.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with payment collection and follow-ups.
• Prepare and maintain accounting reports and supporting schedules.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure transactions comply with company and client accounting policies.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, vendors, or customers regarding accounting-related concerns.
• Handle accounting inquiries through email, chat, or phone when required.
• Use accounting software, ERP systems, spreadsheets, and other client-specific tools.
• Protect confidential financial and customer information.
