We are seeking a dependable and professional Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods or passengers safely, efficiently, and on time, while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport goods or passengers to specified destinations in a timely and safe manner.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and fueled for each trip.
- Follow all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company guidelines during transport.
- Inspect the vehicle before each trip to ensure it is in proper working order and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery/pick-up records.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with passengers or clients.
- Assist with loading/unloading goods as required.
- Plan routes to optimize time and fuel efficiency.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or violations to management immediately.
- Adhere to schedules and ensure timely arrival at destinations.
- Valid driver’s license (with a clean driving record).
- Previous driving experience, especially in a similar role, is preferred.
- Knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (e.g., tire pressure, oil level).
- Physical ability to assist with loading/unloading, if required.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
