Key Responsibilities:
Passenger Transport:
- Pick up passengers at designated locations, such as homes, offices, or airports, and transport them to their destinations.
Route Planning:
- Use maps, GPS devices, or local knowledge to determine the most efficient route.
Customer Service:
- Greet passengers, assist with luggage, and provide information about local attractions or services when requested.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure a secure trip.
Fare Collection:
- Calculate and collect payments from passengers using cash, credit cards, or electronic payment systems.
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Regularly inspect the taxi for cleanliness, fuel levels, and mechanical issues. Report or address any maintenance needs promptly.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain trip logs, including pick-up and drop-off locations, times, and fare amounts.
Valid Driver's License: Appropriate licensing for operating a taxi in the region.
Navigation Skills: Proficient in using GPS systems and understanding local roads.
Customer Service: Friendly and professional demeanor.
Time Management: Punctual and able to manage schedules effectively.
