- A Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of passengers, goods, or materials to their designated destinations. They ensure that all operations comply with traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Basic reading and writing skills for understanding road signs, routes, and documentation.
Licensing and Certification:
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., commercial, heavy, or light vehicles).
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) for truck drivers or bus drivers (if required).
- Additional endorsements (e.g., HazMat, passenger, or tanker endorsements) based on job-specific needs.
Experience:
- Proven driving experience, typically 1–3 years, depending on the role.
- Familiarity with GPS systems, maps, and route planning.
- Experience handling deliveries, passengers, or specialized cargo (preferred).
