We are seeking a reliable and responsible driver to transport goods, passengers, or both, to various locations as needed. The driver will ensure the safety, efficiency, and timeliness of travel, maintaining the vehicle in good condition while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the vehicle in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
- Ensure timely transportation of goods, passengers, or materials to assigned destinations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks (oil, tires, brakes, etc.).
- Report any accidents, traffic violations, or vehicle issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance logs.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo if required.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service, being courteous and professional with passengers or clients.
- Follow routes and schedules while adjusting for traffic conditions or detours as necessary.
- Valid driver’s license (appropriate for the type of vehicle being driven).
- Clean driving record with no history of accidents or traffic violations.
- Ability to follow navigation systems or maps to find destinations efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and care.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (if applicable).
