Greenlight Renewables Holdings Inc. is a joint venture between Emerging Power Inc. (EPI) and Shell, dedicated to developing, owning, and operating large-scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage projects in the Philippines. We’re looking for a Health and Safety Officer who will take the lead in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment across our project sites. If you're a certified safety professional with a passion for proactive safety culture and regulatory compliance, we want you on our team!
The Health and Safety Officer is responsible for the conceptualization, development, and implementation of company-wide safety policies and procedures. This role ensures strict adherence to government Occupational Health and Safety Standards, fostering a safe working environment for employees and host communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health and safety policies, programs, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and occupational safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
- Investigate and document incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide training and safety awareness programs to personnel and contractors.
- Coordinate with DOLE, OSHC, and other relevant agencies for compliance and reporting.
- Maintain documentation of safety reports, permits, and certifications.
- Promote a strong culture of safety across all levels of the organization.
- Graduate of Engineering, Business, or any equivalent course.
- Licensed by PRC or relevant government authority.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in occupational health and safety.
- Accredited and trained as a Safety Officer (with necessary DOLE/OSHC certifications).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledgeable in applicable safety regulations, Philippine Grid/Electrical Code is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and English proficiency.
- Willing to be assigned to Botolan, Zambales Project site .
