Building Maintenance:
- Conduct routine inspections of common areas (hallways, lobby, laundry room, etc.)
- Perform minor repairs such as plumbing issues, electrical problems, and appliance malfunctions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of all common areas.
- Ensure the proper functioning of building systems (e.g., elevators, security systems, fire alarms).
- Coordinate with contractors for major repairs and renovations.
Grounds Maintenance:
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the building's exterior, including sidewalks, parking areas, and landscaping.
- Remove snow and ice from walkways and parking areas during winter months.
- Perform general landscaping duties such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and planting flowers.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building's garbage and recycling areas.
- Experience in building maintenance, property management, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Experience with basic handyman tasks is a plus.
Skills:
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry: Ability to perform minor repairs (e.g., unclogging drains, changing light bulbs, fixing minor leaks).
- Knowledge of building systems: Familiarity with HVAC systems, fire alarms, security systems, and other building equipment.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to interact effectively with residents
