- A Bank Teller is responsible for providing excellent customer service by handling routine financial transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and check cashing. They assist customers with account inquiries, promote banking products and services, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and security policies. Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree in finance or business is a plus)
- Previous cash-handling or customer service experience preferred
- Strong numerical and data entry skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with banking regulations and security procedures (training provided)
- Basic computer skills and experience with financial software
