AU SENIOR BOOKKEEPER

We’re looking for a detail-driven Accountant / Bookkeeper who can support Australian clients with accurate reporting, smooth payroll, timely reconciliations, and reliable day-to-day finance operations. Work Setup: Hybrid options across Makati and Pampanga, day shift aligned with Australian clients
Role Overview
As an Accountant / Bookkeeper, you’ll support Australian businesses with core bookkeeping, payroll, compliance, and financial reporting tasks. You’ll help keep client accounts accurate and up to date, manage reconciliations, prepare BAS and IAS, and deliver dependable finance support within agreed timelines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare Compliance Documents: Assist with the preparation of BAS and IAS for Australian clients.
Process Payroll: Manage payroll for selected clients, including superannuation calculations.
Keep Books Accurate: Handle general bookkeeping tasks and maintain clean, up-to-date client records.
Support Management Reporting: Assist with management accounting and provide timely financial information.
Prepare Financial Statements: Support the preparation of accurate financial statements and related reports.
Reconcile Accounts: Complete bank and credit card reconciliations with strong attention to detail.
Manage Payables: Process and monitor accounts payable transactions.
Manage Receivables: Support accounts receivable activities and help keep client cash flow records organised.
Skills & Experience
Graduate with a Finance, Accounting, or related degree.
CPA license is preferred, but not required.
At least 2–3 years of experience in Australian bookkeeping and accounting.
Strong understanding of client accounts, business requirements, and day-to-day accounting workflows.
Knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance requirements is preferred.
General accounting experience is preferred.
Experience with Individual, Partnership, Trust, and Company tax returns is an advantage but not required.
Confident using Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Familiar with accounting platforms such as Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
Able to learn new systems and tools quickly as needed.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Reliable, quality-focused, and able to deliver work on time without close supervision.
