Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The role includes handling general ledger activities, reconciliations, journal entries, and assisting in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and record journal entries accurately and on time.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Support external and internal audits by providing required documents and schedules.
- Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
