- The Customer Service Representative is responsible for being the primary point of contact for customers who need assistance. They are responsible for answering inquiries, resolving problems, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records. They must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be able to multitask, and have a strong attention to detail. They must be adept at working with a diverse range of people and be able to work independently or as part of a team. A successful Customer Service Representative will be skilled at active listening, patient, and able to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations. Ultimately, their focus should be on ensuring the highest possible level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Answering customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat.
- Resolving customers’ problems in a timely and empathetic manner.
- Maintaining a high level of knowledge about the company’s products and services.
- Inputting and processing orders from customers.
- Performing data entry and record keeping tasks.
- Gathering feedback and insights from customers.
- Collaborating with other teams within the company to improve overall customer satisfaction.
- Upselling and cross-selling the company’s products and services whenever appropriate.
- Being able to handle difficult or frustrated customers while ensuring their issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
- Must have at least a bachelor's degree or at least completed 2nd yr in College (72units) with 6mos Customer service Experience
- Prior experience in customer service, sales, or a related field is recommended.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must be comfortable using computers and familiar with basic software programs such as Microsoft Office, email, and online chat.
- Must possess strong problem-solving abilities and be able to think quickly on their feet
- Being self-motivated, proactive, and a team player are also important traits for this role
- The ability to fluently speak and write in English is a must, and proficiency in another language is preferred.
- Experience level of below 1 year is required for this position.
