Senior General Accountant

Key Responsibilities
- Journal Entries: Prepare and post all entries (adjustments, accruals, amortizations) with proper documentation.
- General Ledger: Maintain and review ledger accuracy and classifications; reconcile sub-ledgers as needed.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile statements; investigate variances and unreconciled items.
- Month/Year-End Close: Lead/assist close processes; ensure timely reporting and audit readiness.
- Financial Statements: Prepare Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow; assist internal/external reporting.
- BIR Compliance: Prepare/file VAT and monthly/quarterly/annual tax returns; monitor regulatory changes.
- Intercompany: Record and reconcile related-party transactions; manage affiliate dues/settlements.
- Audit Support: Provide schedules and respond to auditor inquiries; close corrective actions.
- Fixed Assets: Track acquisitions, depreciation, tags, disposals; maintain asset register.
- Internal Controls: Enforce standards; identify improvements and assist in implementation.
Qualifications
- Education: BS in Accounting/Finance; CPA preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years in accounting, preferably in the Philippines or shared services.
- Skills: Solid knowledge of PFRS/PFRS for SMEs, BIR compliance, VAT; ERP/accounting software proficiency; advanced Excel.
- Language: English; Filipino a plus.
