Accounting Manager

The incumbent is in charge of managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department and ensuring that financial statements are prepared and accurately and promptly. Responsible in ensuring that all governmental reports of the company are prepared regularly and submitted promptly to the government in coordination with the external auditors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department
· Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports
· Reviewing financial reports and financial forecasts
· Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
· Work closely with staff to improve existing or introduce new skills and processes where necessary
· Oversee and review governmental remittances and reports
· Develop and implement new procedures that will enhance the efficiency of the group
· Coordinating and working together with external auditors in the preparation of audited financial reports.
· Preparation of reports as required by the Company Head and Group Head such as but not limited to the following:
a.Cash / BS Analysis
b.Projected Financial Performances
c.Alphalist – Compensation
· Checking of Trade APVouchers, JVs, CMs, DMs and Bank Reconciliations.
· Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
· Responsible to guide, develop and support team members through effective coaching
REPORTS:
Financial Statements: Monthly
Cash/ BS Analysis: Monthly
Projected Financial Performances: Monthly
Alphalist: Compensation Annually
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Proven progressive experience in accounting, with demonstrated experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Technical Knowledge: Thorough working knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Audit Coordination: Experience managing the audit process and coordinating with external auditors.
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications
