Employee Relations Specialist

Onboarding
o Partner with Recruitment team to support new hire onboarding processes
o Conduct or support new employee orientation sessions
o Ensure completion of required employment documentation and policy acknowledgments
o Educate new hires on company policies, workplace conduct expectations, and reporting procedures
o Address early-stage employee concerns to support retention Employee Experience & Relations
o Serve as primary point of contact for employee relations concerns
o Investigate complaints, grievances, and workplace conflicts in a timely, objective manner
o Conduct interviews and document findings in compliance with company standards
o Advise managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and corrective action plans
o Support and monitor performance improvement plans (PIPs)
o Facilitate mediation and conflict resolution discussions
o Analyze employee relations trends and recommend proactive strategies
o Assist in policy development, updates, and communication
o Deliver training on workplace conduct, harassment prevention, and company policies
o Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
Offboarding
o Advise managers on termination procedures and risk mitigation
o Review and prepare separation documentation
o Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback for trends
o Partner with payroll to ensure proper final pay and benefits processing
o Support reductions in force and restructuring efforts as needed
o Ensure compliance with legal requirements during separations
