A Reservation Manager oversees and manages booking processes for a hotel, restaurant, or travel service, ensuring a seamless and efficient customer experience. They handle customer inquiries, coordinate with other departments, and optimize booking systems to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor reservation systems to ensure accurate bookings.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve booking-related issues promptly.
- Coordinate with sales, front desk, and operations teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Optimize room or service availability to maximize revenue.
- Prepare reservation reports and analyze trends for improvement.
- Train and supervise reservation staff, ensuring high customer service standards.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
Experience:
- Proven experience in reservations or customer service.
- Prior management experience is an advantage.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in reservation systems (e.g., Opera, Amadeus, or similar).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Other: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
