Retail Sales & Key Account Manager

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Retail Sales & Key Account Manager to manage the day-to-day commercial execution of our retail business and support the continued expansion of our brands across key US retailers. This role is highly operational and retailer-facing, working closely with our CEO, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure strong execution across existing accounts as well as new retail opportunities.

Compensation: 12 USD per hour

Key Responsibilities

1. Retailer Outreach & Business Development

Identify and approach relevant retail partners and buyers
Conduct ongoing outreach to new and existing retail contacts and maintain momentum with prospective partners
Prepare retailer-specific presentations, line reviews, proposals, and assortment recommendations
Coordinate samples, product information, and other materials required by retailers
Maintain an active pipeline of retail opportunities and next steps

2. Key Account Management

Manage day-to-day communication with retail buyers and account teams
Serve as the main operational point of contact for assigned retail accounts
Coordinate and respond to retailer requests across assortments, pricing, promotions, markdowns, forecasts, purchase orders, planograms, item setup, and launch timing
Proactively follow up on open topics and ensure deadlines are met

3. Retail Meetings & Presentations

Prepare and lead retailer meetings, line reviews, and business reviews
Develop and adapt retailer presentations using existing company materials
Coordinate relevant sales data, product information, pricing, and marketing plans ahead of meetings
Manage follow-up actions, meeting recaps, and next steps

4. New Product & Retail Launch Execution

Coordinate new product introductions with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Finance
Ensure retailers receive required product information, images, samples, pricing, and launch materials on time
Track launch timelines, retailer deadlines, and item setup requirements
Follow up internally to ensure agreed launch dates and commitments can be met

5. Promotions & Commercial Execution

Coordinate retailer promotional requests and annual promotional calendars
Work with Finance to evaluate promotional economics, pricing, and retailer deductions
Track agreed promotions, discounts, markdowns, and commercial commitments
Support post-promotion reviews and assess incremental sales generated

6. Reporting & Sales Administration

Maintain clear account status and opportunity tracking
Provide regular updates on retailer conversations, open actions, and upcoming deadlines
Track sell-in, orders, forecasts, and launch opportunities
Flag risks or commercial issues early to management

Required Skills & Experience

Experience: Retail sales, key account management, or business development experience — ideally within Beauty, Personal Care, or Consumer Goods
Retailers: Strong understanding of working with major US retailers
Commercial Acumen: Comfortable working with pricing, margins, promotions, and deductions
Communication: Strong written and verbal English; able to prepare compelling retailer presentations and sales materials
Competencies: Highly organized, proactive, execution-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple retailer conversations simultaneously
Profile: Comfortable working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment and coordinating effectively across Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations

Note: This is an operational sales and account management role. Major strategic retailer negotiations and company-wide commercial decisions remain with senior management.
