Procurement Supervisor
Location: North Fairview, Quezon City
Job Summary
The Procurement Supervisor oversees the day-to-day purchasing operations to ensure the timely procurement of quality materials, products, and services at the best possible cost. This role manages supplier relationships, monitors inventory requirements, and ensures compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate daily purchasing activities.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best price, quality, delivery, and payment terms.
- Prepare and review purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and production to maintain adequate stock.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Resolve purchasing issues such as delayed deliveries, quality concerns, and supplier disputes.
- Prepare purchasing reports, cost analyses, and supplier performance reports for management.
- Collaborate with Production, Sales, Accounting, and Warehouse to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure complete and organized purchasing documentation and records.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, purchasing, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role .
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, inventory management, and supplier management.
