Procurement Officer

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain quality products and services at competitive prices.
Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and other procurement-related documents.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with concerned departments to ensure timely procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment.
Identify and accredit reliable vendors and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
Compare and analyze quotations, proposals, and supplier performance to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with company requirements.
Coordinate the delivery of purchased items and ensure that orders are received accurately and on schedule.
Verify procurement transactions and ensure that all purchases comply with company policies, procedures, and budget requirements.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, supplier information, and procurement activities.
Resolve issues related to supplier performance, delivery delays, product quality, and discrepancies in orders.
Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and recommendations for management review.
Monitor market trends, pricing, and sourcing opportunities to support strategic purchasing decisions.
Perform other procurement and administrative duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.
