Recruitment Specialist

Context
The Recruitment Specialist will perform and provide services for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization., with a critical role in attracting candidates and matching them to temporary or permanent positions in the company, ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.
Missions/Main Duties
Recruitment Tasks
- Receives and validates job vacancy and requirements from requesting divisions.
- Collaborates with hiring managers to set qualification criteria for personnel.
- Networks with colleagues for possible in-house referrals.
- Performs end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring compliance with the company’s hiring policy and utilizing the company’s hiring portal.
- Creates and publishes job ads in various portals and/or social media platforms.
- Screens CVs/resumes in order to shortlist qualified applicants.
- Schedules interviews (online/onsite), and /or technical exams of applicants.
- Prepares accurate offer sheets and contracts with job descriptions, taking into account all approved employment details (hiring rate, benefits, etc.).
- Performs background check of applicants.
- Follows up and coordinates with applicants throughout the hiring process.
- Maintains a database of potential candidates for future job openings.
- Ensures that contract details are updated in the company’s HR portal (TalentPlace).
- Coordinates schedules and participates in orientation of new joiners.
- Coordinates with Admin, IT and other concerned divisions regarding requirements of new joiners (assignment of workstation, computer, etc.).
- Endorses new joiners to Team Leaders/Managers of their divisions.
Related/Special/Other tasks:
- Monitors contract expirations, drafts contract extensions, and submits the same for review by HR Specialist.
- Works with HR Manager to track hiring metrics (time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire).
- Participate in job fairs and secures graduate lists to fill up databank for entry level positions in the company.
- Performs special/other tasks that may be assigned by the HR Manager or by the Sr. Manager for Corporate Support Services.
Profile/Skills
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist, Recruiter or similar role.
- Experience working in engineering consultancy is a plus.
- Knowledge in sourcing techniques and generation of leads.
- Hands-on experience in sourcing from legitimate job sites.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal communications skills.
- Required skill(s): MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience specializing in mass recruitment and placement of senior roles including team leader, manager or senior managers.
Applicant must be a holder of a Bachelor's/College Degree in Human Resources Management ; preferred but not required, provided qualifications are met
