Finance Manager from Retail Industry

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Proactively lead all accounting processes across the portfolio of companies

2. Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes for

efficiency and accuracy

3. Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance

sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

4. Collaborate with management to develop budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment

with strategic goals

5. Implement and monitor effective internal controls to safeguard company assets,

including inventory, cash, fixed assets, and other critical assets, ensuring compliance with

financial regulations

6. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights for decision-making and strategic

planning

7. Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize liquidity and working capital

8. Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax-related documents and payments

9. Collaborate with other departments, including HR and operations, to provide financial

guidance and support

10. Ensure accurate financial reporting is available by deadlines

11. Handle and manage daily finance-related matters from various departments

12. Review VAT and WHT calculations and filings

13. Review CIT filings and other statutory submissions

14. Review monthly PIT calculations, annualization, and related filings

15. Oversee document compliance for store openings and closings

16. Conduct quarterly inventory and cash checks across stores

17. Lead and manage year-end audits and coordinate with auditors

QUALIFICATIONS:

18. 10+ years of experience in the retail industry

19. CPA certification preferred

20. Proficiency in Chinese preferred
