Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial reporting, general accounting, and statutory audits.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine tax regulations, BIR, SEC, and applicable accounting standards.
- Manage tax filings, cash flow, budgets, and internal financial controls.
- Evaluate financial and tax implications of new lending products.
- Build relationships with local banks and financial institutions.
- Improve accounting processes and manage financial risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of financial management experience in consumer finance or fintech lending.
- At least 3 years of experience managing financial operations in Southeast Asia.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, BIR regulations, SEC requirements, and financial reporting.
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel.
- Excellent English communication skills; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and compliance management skills.
